Online Hajj registration begins for next year
LAHORE, Jun 22 (APP):The Hajj registration for the year 2027 has officially been started, those wishing to perform Hajj can now register online through the ministry’s website.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, online registration has been made mandatory for going on Hajj next year and only those people who have completed their registration within the stipulated period will be eligible for Hajj.
The officials said that the registration process will be closed when the required number is reached, so those wishing to register have been instructed to register as soon as possible.
For registration, the passport validity has been made mandatory till November 2027, while no registration fee will be charged from the Hajj pilgrims during this process.
The purpose of registration is to improve Hajj arrangements, compile accurate data of pilgrims and ensure timely planning of the upcoming Hajj operation.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has appealed to all aspirants to complete the online registration on time by fulfilling the prescribed conditions so that they can be declared eligible for Hajj 2027.
