Police foil snatching of vehicle, arrest 2 robbers with arms in Jiwani
QUETTA, Jun 22 (APP):Jiwani Police foiled a snatching of vehicle and arrested two suspects and arms recovered from their possession during timely action on Monday.
According to police source, on the directive of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) Makran Range Imran Qureshi, the police team took action against robbers and successfully foiled an armed robbery attempt.
Two alleged accused were arrested including Ganj Bakhsh resident of Sarbandar Gwadar and Azeem Jan resident of Balar Kalanch Tehsil Pasni during the operation.
The source said that according to initial information, the accused were trying to rob a vehicle at gunpoint and they arrested them red-handed.
One, 223 rifle with magazine, 13 live cartridges, one 9 mm pistol with magazine, 07 live cartridges and one red double cabin Toyota Vigo were recovered from the possession of the arrested accused.
A case has been registered against the accused and further investigation was started.
