DC reviews preparations to ensure peaceful Muharram observance
HYDERABAD, Jun 22 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Zain-ul-Abedin Memon visited Faujdari Road and Makki Shah area in connection with the arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram.
He was accompanied by the CEO WASA, Municipal Commissioner HMC and other officers of the concerned departments.
According to a handout issued on Monday, during the visit, the deputy commissioner reviewed the ongoing arrangements including sanitation, drainage, water supply, street lighting and other civic facilities to ensure smooth observance of Muharram-ul-Haram.
DC Memon directed all concerned departments to immediately resolve all necessary issues and complete the required arrangements on a priority basis to facilitate mourners and maintain public convenience during the holy month.
The deputy commissioner emphasized that all departments should work in close coordination and remain fully vigilant to ensure that Muharram processions and gatherings are held peacefully and without any inconvenience.
