BAHAWALPUR, Jun 22 (APP):A central admission cell has been established at the Abbasia Campus of The Islamia University
Bahawalpur in connection with the Fall 2026 admission campaign. Vice Chancellor the Islamia University of Bahawalpur Prof Dr Muhammad Kamran visited the newly established Admission Cell and reviewed the arrangements made for facilitating prospective students.
On the occasion, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Kamran said that The Islamia University of Bahawalpur was the largest university in South Punjab and welcomes students seeking quality higher education. He stated that admissions were currently open in 325 programs across Engineering, Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Arts, Law, Allied Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Agriculture, and Veterinary Sciences. The Vice Chancellor encouraged students to choose The Islamia University of Bahawalpur for their academic and professional future, where highly qualified faculty members were preparing students according to market needs through quality education and advanced research.Incharge Admission Cell Dr. Badar Habib briefed the Vice Chancellor about the facilities available for students. He informed that e-portal application support, photocopying, document verification,
and banking facilities had been provided under one roof at the Admission Cell.
Special arrangements, including air-conditioned seating and cold drinking water facilities, had also
been made for candidates and their families. Admissions are currently ongoing in BS, MPhil, and PhD programs across all campuses and departments of the university. The Admission Cell is also providing career counseling services to guide students about professional opportunities in national and international markets.
