SIALKOT, Jun 22 (APP):Deputy Commissioner Saba Asghar Ali visited the District Emergency Control Room
to review the monitoring system, security plan and overall arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram, including preparations for Majalis and processions.
During the visit, she directed the concerned departments to ensure effective security and
uninterrupted civic services, including cleanliness, street lighting, sewerage, safe drinking
water and medical facilities.
She also instructed officials to remain alert and maintain close coordination
throughout Muharram.
According to a spokesperson for the Deputy Commissioner’s Office, Saba Asghar Ali
said all departments should remain fully prepared to respond to any emergency and work
together to ensure a safe, peaceful and well-organised environment for mourners
during Muharram-ul-Haram.
