Drug peddler sentenced to 15 years in prison, fined by CNS Court

A Special Court for the Control of Narcotic Substances (CNS) here on Monday sentenced a convicted drug peddler to 15 years in prison and imposed a fine in a narcotics trafficking case.

ATTOCK, Jun 22 (APP):A Special Court for the Control of Narcotic Substances (CNS) here on Monday sentenced a convicted drug peddler to 15 years in prison and imposed a fine in a narcotics trafficking case.
According to court records, the convict, Syed Hadyat Shah, was arrested by Attock Saddar Police in 2024 after contraband was recovered from his possession. A case was subsequently registered against him.
Following the completion of legal proceedings and examination of evidence, the CNS court found the accused guilty and awarded him 15 years’ rigorous imprisonment along with a fine.
The police  said the verdict reflected the authorities’ commitment to combating drug trafficking and ensuring strict enforcement of narcotics laws.
