Two drug traffickers apprehended, hashish over 2.4 kg recovered

The police  arrested two drug traffickers and seized more than 2.4 kilograms of hashish during an anti-narcotics operation, the official sources said on Monday.

KOHAT, Jun 22 (APP):The police  arrested two drug traffickers and seized more than 2.4 kilograms of hashish during an anti-narcotics operation, the official sources said on Monday.
The operation was conducted by Jarma police following directives from Kohat District Police Officer (DPO), Dr. Shahbaz Elahi as part of an ongoing campaign against drug smuggling.
According to police, Station House Officer (SHO), Iqbal Khan and his team raided the Algada Muslimabad area after receiving intelligence about suspected narcotics activity. Two suspects, identified as Ayub and Yasir, were taken into custody during the raid, the sources added.
The police said a total of 2,435 grams of hashish was recovered from the suspects’ possession.
The police registered a case against the accused and launched further investigation.
