LAHORE, Jun 21 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Sunday paid tribute to former prime minister Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto on her 73rd birth anniversary, describing her as a symbol of democracy, political stability and women’s empowerment in Pakistan.
In her message, the CM said that Benazir Bhutto Shaheed rendered remarkable services for the promotion of democratic values and strengthening of democratic institutions in the country. She added that Benazir Bhutto occupies a distinguished place in Pakistan’s political history and continues to inspire political workers and democratic forces across the nation.
