SIALKOT, Jun 20 (APP): The Department of Art and Design at Government College Women University Sialkot organized its Final Year Thesis Exhibition on Saturday, showcasing the creative and innovative work of graduating students, a university spokesperson said.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Vice Chancellor (VC), Prof. Dr. Shazia Bashir along with chief guest R.M. Naeem.
The event featured an extensive display of projects by students of Fine Arts and Textile Design.
Fine Arts students presented a range of artworks characterized by vibrant colors, unique concepts and creative expression, while Textile Design students showcased innovative home decor and design projects that attracted considerable attention from visitors.
The exhibition highlighted the students’ artistic talent, technical proficiency and creative vision, reflecting the academic training and mentorship provided by the department.
Addressing the participants, Prof. Dr. Shazia Bashir commended the efforts of Reza Rehman and the faculty members for fostering students’ creative abilities and preparing them for professional careers.
She also praised the students for the quality of their projects and their dedication to their work.
Chief guest R.M. Naeem took a detailed tour of the exhibition and appreciated the artworks and designs on display, observing that they reflected the talent, imagination and promising future of the younger generation.
A large number of faculty members, students and distinguished guests attended the exhibition and lauded the projects. Participants noted that such activities provide an effective platform for students to showcase their skills and support their professional growth.
