Balochistan cabinet praises CS Shakeel Qadir for governance & administrative excellence

QUETTA, Jun 18 (APP): The Balochistan Cabinet has paid glowing tribute to Chief Secretary (CS) Shakeel Qadir Khan in recognition of his outstanding administrative performance, promotion of good governance, and effective and transparent implementation of government policies.

The acknowledgment came during a provincial cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti the other day. Participants lauded the Chief Secretary’s administrative skills, professional competence, and reform initiatives, noting his valuable role in improving provincial governance, strengthening institutional performance, and ensuring continuity in administrative discipline.

In his remarks, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti expressed pride in Shakeel Qadir Khan’s contributions, emphasizing that his dedication, integrity, and professionalism had been instrumental in preparing the provincial government’s third consecutive budget. He described Khan as one of the most capable, talented, and experienced officers of the Pakistan Civil Service, whose practical performance has earned widespread respect.

Sarfraz Bugti further added that while policy-making is the prerogative of the government, effective, transparent, and timely implementation is the constitutional and legal responsibility of administrative institutions, a responsibility the Chief Secretary has fulfilled with distinction.

The Chief Minister also praised Provincial Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani, Finance Secretary Jahangir Khan, Principal Secretary Imran Zarkoon, and the entire Finance Department team for their hard work, cooperation, and professional services in the budget preparation process, calling their efforts commendable.

The cabinet expressed confidence that the reforms, development projects, and welfare initiatives undertaken under this leadership will yield positive results, paving the way for Balochistan’s progress and prosperity.
