KPRA conducts 4th lucky draw of consumer rewards scheme

Director General (DG) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA), Irum Naz, conducted the fourth lucky draw of KPRA’s Consumer Rewards Scheme on Thursday, selecting 50 winners through a transparent digital process.

Collector Sales Tax on Services, Muhammad Abbas Khan; Director Legal, Tax Policy and Reforms, Mr. Naimatullah; Director Administration, HR & Coordination, Ms. Asma Khyber; Director Inquiry, Investigation & Tax Audit,Pir Muhammad Mehsud; Director ICT, Aftab Ahmad; and Director Finance, Ms. Hina Hafeez, were also present on the occasion.
The lucky draw was conducted using specially developed software to ensure complete transparency in the selection process. Each winner will receive a cash prize of Rs10,000 through a cheque issued by KPRA.
The Consumer Rewards Scheme was launched by KPRA in February 2026 in four districts, Peshawar, Mardan, Abbottabad, and Haripur, covering selected hotels and restaurants. The Authority has already conducted three successful lucky draws under the initiative.
For the fourth draw, KPRA received a total of 339 invoices from consumers between May 16 and June 15, 2026. From these entries, 50 winners were selected through the computerized draw conducted by the Director General and senior officers of the Authority.
Speaking on the occasion, DG KPRA Miss Irum Naz congratulated the winners and reiterated that the initiative is aimed at encouraging consumers to demand proper tax invoices and helping ensure that taxes collected by businesses are duly deposited into the government treasury.
“Through the Consumer Rewards Scheme, KPRA is empowering citizens to play an active role in combating tax fraud and evasion. Every invoice shared with KPRA contributes to greater transparency and strengthens our efforts to curb tax evasion,” she said.
