Winds, rain forecast in upper Sindh and Karachi; hot, dry weather in most districts

KARACHI, Jun 18 (APP): Pakistan Meteorological Department, Thursday, forecast hot and dry weather in most districts of Sindh during next 24 hours while light rain, wind and thunderstorm are likely in Karachi and surroundings.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy weather is likely, according to the met office, in the upper part of Sindh with chances of windstorm, rain and thunderstorm at isolated places in Kashmore, Jacobabad, Sukkur, Ghotki,  Shikarpur, Larkana and Dadu districts.
Dadu received 1 mm of rainfall and thunderstorms and gusty winds also occurred at isolated places in upper districts, while hot and dry weather prevailed in most districts of the province during the past 24 hours.
Dadu and Jacobabad remained the warmest places in Sindh with mercury soaring to 45 Centigrade. The highest temperature in Sukkur, Moen jo Daro and Nawabshah was recorded as 43 C, while 38 C in Hyderabad and Mithi, 36 in Thatta and 35 C in Karachi.
