ISLAMABAD, Jun 18 (APP):Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, on Thursday commended the sincere efforts of Pakistan’s leadership in facilitating the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the United States (US) and Iran, describing it as a major diplomatic achievement.
Speaking to the media, he praised the Prime Minister, the Chief of the Defence Forces (CDF), and other for their role in securing the peace agreement, saying the initiative had further strengthened Pakistan’s image globally as a peace-loving and responsible nation.
Meanwhile, Member of the National Assembly (MNA) Gul Asghar Khan congratulated the nation, the media, and people from all walks of life on the successful peace agreement. He also appreciated the Prime Minister and the CDF for their leadership in helping avert a major military conflict in the region.
MNA Mehreen Bhutto highlighted Pakistan’s effective diplomatic engagement in facilitating the agreement, calling it a remarkable example of successful diplomacy at the international level.
MNA Tahir Iqbal said Pakistan had played a constructive and balanced diplomatic role that not only helped secure the peace agreement but also prevented a major regional military confrontation.
MNA Ali Musa Gillani also credited the Prime Minister and the Chief of the Defence Forces for their tireless efforts in promoting dialogue and contributing to the successful peace accord.
