Pakistan exported goods worth Rs.7,827,925 million during the first eleven months (July–May) of the current fiscal year (2025-26), Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported.
Goods worth 7.8 trillion exported in 11 months: PBS

ISLAMABAD, Jun 18 (APP):Pakistan exported goods worth Rs.7,827,925 million during the first eleven months (July–May) of the current fiscal year (2025-26), Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported.
The exports in rupee term witnessed declined by 5.08 percent compared to the same period of last year, when they stood at Rs Rs.8,246,790 million, according to provisional figures released by the bureau.
Meanwhile, on year on year basis, the exports from the country increased by 0.39 percent to Rs.749,452 million May compared to export of Rs. 752,392 million during May, 2025. On month-on-month basis, the exports increased by 8.83 percent in May compared to exports of Rs. 688,656 million in April, 2026.
Main commodities of exports during May, 2026 were knitwear (Rs. 124,251 million), readymade garments (Rs.115,407 million), bed wear (Rs. 79,514 million), cotton cloth (Rs.40,641 million), rice others (Rs. 31,511 million), towels (Rs. 29,229 million), basmati rice (Rs.23,702 million), madeup aArticles, excluding Towels & Bedwears (Rs.18,668 million), cotton yarn (Rs.16,733 million) and petroleum products, excluding top naphta (Rs. 14,955 million).
On the other hand, imports during July – May, 2025 – 2026 totaled Rs. 17,668,819 million as against Rs. 16,506,992 million during the corresponding period of last year showing an increase of 7.04%.
Imports into Pakistan during May, 2026 amounted to Rs. 1,536,547 million as against Rs. 1,880,609 million in April, 2026 and Rs. 1,594,884 million during May, 2025 showing a decrease of 18.30% over April, 2026 and of 3.66% over May, 2025.
Main commodities of imports during May, 2026 were petroleum crude (Rs.195,538 million), petroleum products (Rs.141,630 million), electrical machinery & apparatus (Rs. 72,227 million), palm oil (Rs.64,444 million), plastic materials (Rs.59,462 million), motor cars (Rs.52,886 million), iron & steel (Rs.40,672 million), iron & steel scrap (Rs.39,388 million), natural gas liquified (Rs.36,754 million) and Raw cotton (Rs.36,390 million).
