Pakistan’s effective diplomacy enhances regional, global role: Kanjo
ISLAMABAD, Jun 18 (APP):State Minister for power Abdul rehman Kanjo on Thursday said that Pakistan’s recent diplomatic achievements and growing international recognition reflected the country’s effective engagement on regional and global issues.
Speaking to media outside of parliament, he said the respect and diplomatic successes earned by Pakistan were a source of national pride.
He paid tribute to Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi for their continued efforts in advancing Pakistan’s interests at the international level.
He said Pakistan’s timely diplomatic initiatives had helped avert a major crisis that could have had serious consequences for regional stability. As a result, he added, Pakistan’s standing in the international community had strengthened and would continue to grow.
The leader expressed confidence that under the leadership of Prime Minister , the benefits of Pakistan’s enhanced global role and international engagement would gradually reach the people.
He said the country was moving forward on the path of economic and diplomatic progress and expressed optimism that Pakistan would continue to expand its role in regional and international affairs.
