BHAKKAR, Jun 18 (APP):The police arrested an alleged drug dealer and seized hashish 560 grams during an intelligence-based operation, a police spokesperson said on Thursday.
The operation was carried out as part of an ongoing campaign against narcotics trafficking.
Acting on the directives of the District Police Officer, a team led by Station House Officer (SHO) Jandanwala, conducted a raid and recovered the narcotics from the possession of suspect identified as Muhammad Bilal.
The police said a case had been registered against the accused and further investigations were underway.
The spokesperson said the operations against drug traffickers and criminal elements would continue without discrimination as the police were committed to maintaining law and order and ensuring the rule of law across the district.
