IESCO notifies power suspension programme
ISLAMABAD, Jun 17 (APP): The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Wednesday issued a power suspension programme for Thursday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, in the Islamabad Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 11:00 am in Pir Sohawa feeder.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, electricity will remain suspended from 7:00 am to 11:00 am in Rehmatabad-1, Takbeer-I, Chaklala and Kot Jabbi feeders.
In Rawalpindi City Circle, power outage will also continue from 7:00 am to 11:00 am in Sector-IV, APHS, PAF, Dk. Chaudrian, Peshawar Road, Millatabad, Cheering Cross, NRC, Cobe Line and Askari-XI feeder areas.
In Attock Circle, Fawara Chowk feeder will remain without electricity from 7:00 am to 11:00 am.
In Jhelum Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in Ward No. 8 feeder area.
In Chakwal Circle, outages will be observed from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur, CWO feeders and surrounding localities.
In GSO Circle,electricity will remain suspended from 08:00 am to 04:00 pm, 132KV New Wah to POF along with related earth switch, from 08:00 am to 06:00 pm, 132-KV Chakwal- Bhagwal- Talagang, 132KV Kahuta City- Palandri, 132KV New Wah-Bahtermore along with related earth switch, and surrounding areas will remain closed.
IESCO management apologizes to its esteemed customers for the power outage. If the work is completed ahead of time, the power supply can be restored even before the scheduled time.
