QUETTA, Jun 17 (APP): Balochistan Government kept Rs 285 million for development of Tourism and Culture and Rs 1.81 billion for non-progress in the coming financial year 2026-27.
Balochistan Finance Minister Shoaib Nosherwani said in his budget speech that the incumbent government has taken very important steps to promote tourism and culture. Balochistan is a province rich in terms of its culture and tourist attractions, for the development of which the provincial government is taking significant steps.
He said that for the first time, 85 million has been allocated for culture, music, Khuzdar Festival and V-logging during the coming financial year 2026-27.
He maintained that Rs. 250 million has been kept for tourism and cultural activities in Quetta, which would promote tourism and culture, saying that in the coming financial year 2026-27, 285 million rupees have been allocated for development and Rs 1.81 billion for non-development.
