SUKKUR, Jun 17 (APP):Pakistan Muslim League Functional’s provincial leader Advocate Syed Shafqat Ali Shah has expressed concern over growing public protests against unannounced and prolonged load-shedding by SEPCO and HESCO, and urged the authorities to immediately restore electricity supply to end public distress and mental agony.
Advocate Syed Shafqat Ali Shah on Wednesday said that electricity remains suspended for several hours day and night in various cities and rural areas, severely disrupting daily life. In the scorching heat and humid weather, the prolonged power outages are causing extreme hardship for children, women, elderly people, and patients.
The provincial leader added that if there is a fault in any feeder, it is the responsibility of SEPCO and HESCO management to repair it. He demanded that the power system be fixed and restored within a reasonable time-frame.
