Locals urged to take precautionary measures against flood, land sliding

PESHAWAR, Jun 17 (APP): Rescue 1122 Shangla has urged people to take needed precautionary measures against possible chances of rain, flash floods and land sliding.

The District Emergency Office 1122 has also directed rescue workers to be prepare and remain alert to combat situations in rains and land sliding. Rescue 1122 stations of Alpuri, Pooran, Chakaisar and Bisham have been directed ensure availability of staff and machinery to deal with situations during rain, floods and land sliding.

Locals have also been directed to be alert while crossing and streams during floods. Tourists have also been urged to follow advisory and avoid travelling in Shangla during rains and land sliding.
