ISLAMABAD, Jun 17 (APP):Assistant Director Safe City Abbas Mehdi held a detailed briefing for control room officers and outlined key measures aimed at ensuring security, effective surveillance and uninterrupted communication during Muharram-ul-Haram.
An official told APP on Wednesday that the briefing focused on maintaining continuous communication, ensuring round-the-clock alertness and strengthening monitoring mechanisms during the holy month.

Abbas Mehdi directed control room staff to ensure immediate identification and reporting of suspicious activities and maintain effective surveillance through the Safe City camera network.
Officers were instructed to keep district police officers regularly informed about developments and incidents to facilitate timely decision-making and operational response.
The briefing also emphasized maintaining smooth traffic flow and ensuring close coordination with all emergency response agencies to deal with any untoward situation promptly and effectively.
The official said special instructions were issued regarding rapid information sharing, monitoring of processions and gatherings, and utilization of technological resources to support field formations.
Abbas Mehdi stressed the importance of professionalism, vigilance and coordination among all stakeholders to ensure a peaceful and secure environment during Muharram-ul-Haram.
