MULTAN, Jun 17 (APP):Additional Chief Secretary South Punjab, Fuad Hashim Rabbani on Wednesday paid glowing tribute to the grandson of the Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH),Imam Hussain (AS) and his devoted companions saying their supreme sacrifice serves as an eternal lesson of truth,patience,steadfastness and perseverance in the face of adversity.
In his special message issued on the commencement of the new Islamic year 1448 Hijri, he said that the sacred first Islamic month reminds Muslims of the unparalleled sacrifices of Imam Hussain (AS) adding that the sanctity of Muharram-ul-Haram inspires people to uphold justice and remain committed to the principles of righteousness and tolerance.
He extended heartfelt greetings to the people and prayed for peace,prosperity and unity for Pakistan and the entire Muslim Ummah.
Fuad Hashim Rabbani expressed hope that the new Islamic year would usher in an era of peace,security,brotherhood and development across the Muslim world.
He urged the nation to renew its commitment to promote peace, harmony, and mutual respect while collectively working for the progress and prosperity of the country.
Rabbani prayed that the new Islamic year may bring countless blessings and mercy for Pakistan and the Muslim world. “May this year become a source of prosperity and unity for all. Ameen,” he concluded.
