The Governor of Punjab, in his capacity as Chancellor of the University of Sargodha (UoS), has appointed Prof Dr Muhammad Ashraf as Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture.

SARGODHA, Jun 16 (APP): The Governor of Punjab, in his capacity as Chancellor of the University of Sargodha (UoS), has appointed Prof Dr Muhammad Ashraf as Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture.
According to a notification issued by the Higher Education Department shared by UoS spokesperson here on Tuesday, Dr Muhammad Ashraf, a professor of Soil and Environmental Sciences, has been appointed on the basis of seniority and merit.
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Qaisar Abbas congratulated Prof Dr Muhammad Ashraf on his appointment and expressed confidence in his academic and administrative abilities.
He said the newly appointed dean’s extensive experience in teaching, research and academic leadership would contribute to further strengthening the faculty’s academic and research profile.
