150,000 BISP SIMs distributed in Sargodha

As many as 150,000 SIMs have been distributed under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) across Sargodha District and its tehsils so far.

SARGODHA, Jun 16 (APP):As many as 150,000 SIMs have been distributed under the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) across Sargodha District and its tehsils so far.
Deputy Director of the Benazir Income Support Programme, Safdar Awan, told the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) on Tuesday that 150,000 out of a total of 210,000 SIMs designated for registered beneficiaries had already been distributed. He added that distribution of the remaining SIMs would be completed by June 30, 2026.
According to the BISP wallet account opening policy through SIM registration, a total of 210,000 deserving beneficiaries across Sargodha District will receive SIMs by the end of June.
Providing a tehsil-wise breakdown, Safdar Awan said that 80,000 SIMs had been distributed in Sargodha, 20,000 in Sahiwal, 10,000 in Sillanwali, 10,000 in Shahpur, 20,000 in Bhera, and 10,000 in Bhalwal.
He further stated that the distribution process would continue uninterrupted and is expected to be completed by June 30.
