Pakistan squash team depart for Asian Doubles Championship 2026

ISLAMABAD, Jun 15 (APP): Pakistan’s squash contingent departed from Islamabad International Airport on Monday to compete in the 3rd Asian Doubles Squash Championships 2026, set to be held in Sarawak, Malaysia from June 18 to 21.

The delegation is being led by Air Commodore (Retd) Amir Nawaz, Secretary of the Pakistan Squash Federation (PSF), accompanied by Head Coach Fahim Gul.

Pakistan has fielded two strong pairings for the prestigious event. Team 1 features Noor Zaman, the World Junior Champion (Under-23) of 2025, paired with seasoned campaigner Nasir Iqbal, one of Pakistan’s most experienced players on the circuit.
Team 2 comprises Hamza Khan, the World Junior Champion of 2023, teaming up with another seasoned performer, Muhammad Asim Khan.
The dual-team entry reflects the Pakistan Squash Federation’s growing confidence in Pakistan’s squash depth, as the country looks to build on last year’s podium finish.
