200 Mbps high-speed internet facility inaugurated at UoB

PESHAWAR, Jun 15 (APP): Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control, Syed Fakhar Jehan, on Monday visited the University of Buner (UoB), where he was received by Vice Chancellor Prof Dr. Jamshed Ali Khan, along with members of the university’s administrative and academic staff.
During the visit, the provincial minister formally inaugurated a 200 Mbps high-speed internet facility for students and was given a detailed briefing on the university’s academic and research activities, newly established departments, ongoing development projects and future expansion plans.
He also inspected various sections of the university and reviewed the facilities available to students and faculty members.
Addressing a ceremony on the occasion, Syed Fakhar Jehan said the provincial government was taking practical measures to ensure the provision of quality, modern and purposeful education to children and youth across the province without any political discrimination.
He said equipping the younger generation with educational opportunities aligned with modern requirements was essential for building a progressive, skilled and prosperous society.
