Balochistan Ministers discuss upcoming provincial budget, development plans

QUETTA, Jun 15 (APP): Provincial Minister for Public Health Engineering, Sardar Abdul Rehman Khetran, met with Provincial Finance Minister Mir Shoaib Nosherwani to deliberate on key issues related to the upcoming 2026–27 provincial budget, development projects, and public welfare initiatives.
During the meeting, both ministers reviewed the progress of ongoing development schemes and explored strategies to enhance the delivery of basic facilities to citizens. They agreed on expanding the scope of public services in underdeveloped and remote areas of the province, while also ensuring timely completion of development projects.
Finance Minister Shoaib Nosherwani emphasized that the forthcoming budget would prioritize projects serving the public interest, aiming to achieve sustainable development and prosperity across Balochistan. Meanwhile, Minister Abdul Rehman Khetran reaffirmed his commitment to utilizing available resources effectively and transparently to guarantee the successful execution of welfare-oriented projects.
Both ministers stressed that aligning development planning with public needs and ensuring timely implementation would significantly contribute to the province’s overall growth and improve the quality of life for its citizens.
