Police claimed on Monday to have arrested 118 alleged criminals from various areas of the district during the last 24 hours and recovered contraband from their possession.

SARGODHA, Jun 15 (APP): Police claimed on Monday to have arrested 118 alleged criminals from various areas of the district during the last 24 hours and recovered contraband from their possession.
On the special direction of District Police Officer Muhammad Suhaib Ashraf, the police conducted raids at various areas and arrested 58 proclaimed offenders, three court absconders, and several individuals involved in
robbery, theft, dacoity, and murder cases. The police recovered 8 kg hashish, 3 kg opium, 2-kg ice (crystal meth), 123 litres of liquor and 23 litres of liquor, 7 pistols, 4 guns, 3 Kalashnikovs, and 87 bullets, 112 kites (seized under
anti-kite flying laws), 4 mobile-phones, two vehicles, and other valuables worth millions of rupees.
Some of the accused were identified as Asim, Sohail, Naveed, Nadeem, Tahir, Kaleem, Suqlain, Tajamal, Kamran, Afaan, Ghazanfer, Ghulam Rasool, Khaleel, Huzaifa, Hanzala, Hamid, Sibtain, Taimoor, Jameel, Jamshaid, Javed, Jawaad, Usman, Hamza, Waleed, Shahid, Aslam, Arslan, Ehtesham and Erham.
