PESHAWAR, Jun 15 (APP):Minister for Information, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Shafi Jan, said that the required No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the National Highway Authority (NHA) for road access to the Peshawar Bus Terminal project has been obtained, paving the way for further progress on the scheme.
He said the issue was actively pursued by Chief Minister Sohail Afridi, who raised the matter during a recent meeting with the Federal Minister for Planning.
In a statement issued here on Monday, Shafi Jan said positive progress was also being made regarding the provision of 150,000 tons of wheat from PASSCO to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at the contracted rate, adding that efforts are underway to finalize arrangements and ensure timely delivery.
He said the provincial government remained committed to advancing public welfare projects and protecting the rights and interests of the people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
