Governor summons Balochistan Assembly budget session on June 17
QUETTA, Jun 15 (APP):The Governor of Balochistan has summoned the provincial assembly’s budget session under Article 109(a) of the Constitution. According to a notification issued by the Balochistan Assembly Secretariat, the session will convene on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at 4:00 PM in Quetta.
The Secretariat emphasized strict security and entry protocols for the upcoming proceedings. All officers, staff members, and representatives of print and electronic media will be required to present valid entry cards to access the assembly premises.
In a significant directive, the entry of both government and private armed security guards into the Secretariat during the session has been prohibited.
Given the prevailing security situation in the province, the Secretariat further announced that general visitors will not be allowed entry into the assembly building during the budget session.
