Police have arrested the nominated suspect Arsalan in the Muazullah murder case after his interim Bail Before Arrest (BBA) was cancelled by the court, according to a police press release.

ABBOTTABAD, Jun 15 (APP):Police have arrested the nominated suspect Arsalan in the Muazullah murder case after his interim Bail Before Arrest (BBA) was cancelled by the court, according to a police press release.
The incident occurred in Jinnahabad near Jaddun Plaza, where a dispute broke out between two parties following a traffic accident. During the altercation, firing opened by the accused resulted in the death of Muazullah, son of Manzoor Hussain, a resident of Shah Zaman Colony, on the spot. In the same incident, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Haris, son of Riasat Khan and a resident of Kothiala (presently Al-Badr Colony), sustained minor injuries.
Police said the accused Arsalan had obtained interim bail to avoid arrest, which prevented law enforcement from detaining him earlier. However, after continued legal proceedings and effective investigation, the court cancelled his bail.
Following the cancellation, the Mirpur Police acted promptly arrested the suspect, shifting him to the police station for further legal action.
An Abbottabad Police spokesperson confirmed the development and stated that further investigation is underway.
