Sherry hailes Pakistan’s efforts for USA & Iran emerging of understanding

ISLAMABAD, Jun 15 (APP):Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Vice President Senator Sherry Rehman has welcomed the emerging understanding between the United States and Iran, describing it as a significant outcome of Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts and a positive step toward reducing global tensions.

In a statement, Sherry Rehman said that the establishment of consensus between the two countries sends an encouraging signal for peace and stability at the international level. She noted that recent developments have demonstrated that even complex disputes can be resolved through dialogue, mutual understanding, and constructive engagement.

She said that this confidence-building phase between two important nations would generate new hope for the region and contribute to greater stability. According to her, Pakistan played a responsible and balanced role in helping create an environment conducive to reconciliation.

The PPP leader congratulated President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, and the entire Pakistani leadership for enhancing the country’s prestige through their efforts on this important issue.

Sherry Rehman praised Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s political foresight and active diplomacy, stating that his leadership was instrumental in advancing diplomatic engagement. She also commended Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his contribution to promoting regional harmony and stability.

She further acknowledged Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar’s sustained diplomatic outreach, saying it helped strengthen international engagement and facilitate positive outcomes. She added that Pakistan’s diplomatic team played a constructive role through a prudent and effective strategy.
