Police have arrested a drug supplier and recovered 11 kilograms of drugs from his possession during a crackdown here on Sunday.

RAWALPINDI, Jun 14 (APP): Police have arrested a drug supplier and recovered 11 kilograms of drugs from his possession during a crackdown here on Sunday.
According to a police spokesperson, police officers intercepted and searched a suspicious vehicle during routine checking, leading to the recovery of a large quantity of drugs in the jurisdiction of Westridge police station.
The supplier was taken into custody while the vehicle used in the alleged drug trafficking operation was also seized.
During initial interrogation, the suspect reportedly confessed to supplying narcotics to various parts of the city, including educational institutions.
Police have launched further investigations to identify other individuals involved in the network and trace the supply chain.
A spokesperson for Rawalpindi Police said that all possible measures are being taken to eliminate the menace of drugs and ensure strict action against those involved in narcotics trafficking.
