PESHAWAR, Jun 13 (APP): Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Muhammad Sohail Afridi has said that the fiscal year 2026–27 would be dedicated to advancing development, strengthening peace and improving public welfare across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

He affirmed that, despite financial constraints and other challenges, the provincial government remained committed to maintaining the momentum of development and service delivery.
The CM further stated that, in view of public needs and development priorities, the provincial budget for the fiscal year 2026–27 would not be framed as a surplus budget.
