Police continued its crackdown against drug peddlers and illegal weapon holders, arresting six suspects and recovering narcotics, liquor and firearms during separate operations.

GUJRAT, Jun 13 (APP): Police continued its crackdown against drug peddlers and illegal weapon holders, arresting six suspects and recovering narcotics, liquor and firearms during separate operations.
According to police sources, Station House Officer (SHO) City Lalamusa Inspector Nasir Mahmood, along with his team, conducted raids in different areas and arrested five suspects involved in drug trafficking and illegal possession of weapons.
Police recovered 30 litres of liquor and two pistols from the possession of the accused. The arrested suspects were identified as Irfan alias Fani, Bilal, Usama Sarwar, Kashif Ali and Muhammad Shahid.
In a separate operation, SHO Bolani Ghulam Rasool and his team arrested an alleged drug peddler, Qaiser Zaman, and recovered 1,200 grams of hashish from his possession.
Police registered cases against the accused and started further investigation.
