PRBC powers trilateral trade connected via Karachi Constanta Sea Route

ISLAMABAD, Jun 13 (APP):The Pakistan Romania Business Council (PRBC) is pushing bold new momentum for trilateral trade between Pakistan, Syria, and Romania.
PRBC recently met with Syrian Ambassador Dr Ramez Alraee at the embassy to unlock expanded cooperation in textiles, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and construction.
Atif Farooqi, COO and Advisor to PRBC, and Hasnain Haider, PRBC Regional Lead, led discussions focused on practical steps to boost trade flows, spark joint ventures, and widen market access for exporters across all three countries.
They also spotlighted the Karachi–Constanta MOU, a fresh sea route that cuts freight time, slashes delays, and opens Europe’s door for Pakistani goods via Romania, Europe’s strategic gateway.
“The MOU between Karachi Port Trust and the Port of Constanta is a transformative milestone,” said Atif Farooqi. “We commend Ambassador Dr Dan Stoenescu for his leadership and vision.
This deal sets a powerful precedent for expanding trilateral trade with Syria and unlocking new opportunities across the region.”
PRBC will keep driving partnerships, policy dialogue, and sector working groups to convert diplomatic energy into real trade growth. The council plans to support business delegations, follow-up missions, and targeted initiatives that deliver measurable exporters’ wins across Pakistan, Syria, and Romania.
