ISLAMABAD, Jun 13 (APP):Women parliamentarians on Saturday termed the Budget 2026-27 a balanced and relief-oriented financial plan, saying that even in difficult economic conditions, it provides relief to the salaried class by reducing the tax burden, while reflecting the government’s focus on stable growth and overall economic stability.
They said the budget reflects the government’s efforts to maintain economic stability while providing meaningful relief to the salaried class through tax adjustments.
The parliamentarians noted that in difficult economic conditions, such measures are important to support households and ensure sustainable growth.
PML-N Senior leader Tahira Aurangzeb said the budget also reflects positive steps in key social sectors, including health, transport and support for pensioners, while also bringing relief through reduced taxation measures, describing it as a balanced effort to ease public burden in challenging economic conditions.
Senator Rubina Khalid termed the budget supportive of social protection, saying that allocations in this area help inject resources into the local economy and strengthen its foundation, as social protection serves as a backbone for overall economic stability and inclusive growth.
Senator Saira Tarar described the Budget 2026-27 as a well-balanced financial plan, saying it strikes a sensible equilibrium between economic stability, prudent spending and relief for the public, particularly in a challenging economic environment.
Senator PML-N Shahista Pervaiz strongly hailed the Budget 2026-27 as a balanced and people-friendly financial plan that provides relief in difficult economic conditions while focusing on stability and inclusive growth.
Dr Shezra Mansab Ali Khan Kharal described the Budget 2026-27 as a constructive and stability-focused financial plan, saying it reflects the government’s efforts to manage difficult economic conditions while ensuring relief for citizens.
She noted that the budget supports sustainable growth, strengthens key sectors and promotes a balanced approach to development and public welfare.
Romina Khurshid Alam welcomed the Budget 2026-27, saying it demonstrates a responsible fiscal approach alongside a strong commitment to public welfare.
