ISLAMABAD, Jun 12 (APP): The federal government allocated 46 billion for Higher Education Commission (HEC)’s project under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2026-27, according to official PSDP documents.

The allocation covers a wide range of initiatives, including academic and Research Linkages with different countries/agencies under Bilateral Agreements, academic collaboration under the CPEC consortium of universities, establishment of institutes and hostels, initiatives under the Prime Minister Youth Program, and others.

These initiatives further strengthen not only education infrastructure but also enhance the opportunities for local students to study abroad.
