The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Friday issued a power suspension programme for Saturday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.

ISLAMABAD, Jun 12 (APP): The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) on Friday issued a power suspension programme for Saturday in various areas of its region due to necessary maintenance and routine development work.
According to an IESCO spokesman, in Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in areas fed by FECHS, NPF-I, NPF-II, Doctor Town, PWD-I, PWD-II, Old Rawat, New Rawat, AOWHS, Suparco and CWO feeders.
In Rawalpindi City Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Chairing Cross, Millatabad and Askari-XI areas, while consumers connected to F-Block feeder will face outages from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. In Attock Circle, electricity supply will remain suspended from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in areas served by Attock Rural, Teen Mela, Bagh Neelab and Fawara Chowk feeders.
Similarly, in Chakwal Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in areas connected to Mureed, Al-Qaim Mills, Jamalwal, PAF and Mengan feeders.
In GSO Circle, power supply will remain suspended from 6:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in areas including RA Bazar, AWT, Mall Road, AFIC, Tench Bhatta, MH-3, Qasim Market, CMH-1, CMH-2, Sprint Mall, Kiyani Road, Army Flats, MH-1, MH-2, Zeeshan Colony, Haider Road, NLC, Canning Road, Hospital Road, NIASR and New GHQ.
Meanwhile, electricity supply will remain suspended from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Azad Pattan area, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on the 132kV New Wah–POF transmission line along with related earth switches, and from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the 132kV Chakwal–Bhagwal–Talagang, 132kV Kahuta City–Palandri and 132kV New Wah–Bahter More transmission lines along with associated equipment.
IESCO management apologizes to its esteemed customers for the power outage. If the work is completed ahead of time, the power supply can be restored even before the scheduled time.
