ISLAMABAD, Jun 12 (APP):High Commissioner Rabia Shafiq attended the FIFA World Cup 2026 kickoff event in Singapore, co-hosted by the Ambassadors of Mexico and South Africa, and expressed pride in the official match ball, Trionda, which is proudly Made in Pakistan.
In a post on official X wall of the Pakistan High Commission in Singapore, it was mentioned that the Trionda, produced in Sialkot, Pakistan’s world-renowned sports manufacturing hub, the ball showcases the exceptional craftsmanship and quality for which Pakistan is globally recognized.
She added that Sialkot produces around 70% of the world’s hand-stitched footballs and has supplied FIFA World Cup footballs for over four decades.
