NAVTTC trains more than 100,000 students in different skills during FY 2025

ISLAMABAD, Jun 11 (APP):The National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC) through public and private training institutes had trained more than 100,000, according to Pakistan Economic Surrey 2025-26.
The document further revealed that training was provided under different project including Prime Minister’s Youth Skills Development Program (2023-27), Industry Led Training with Industrial Associations, Huawei High-Tech Training Initiative, Upskilling Initiative with NETSOL Institute of AI (NIAI), Prime Minister’s Program for Overseas Employment, Skill Training of Madrassa Youth, Training of Youth in Newly Merged Districts, End to End Program Leading to Employment, NAVTTC Blended Learning International IT Trainings, Summer of Code, Cluster Based Trainings, High Impact IT Training in FDE Colleges.
The NAVTTC is the apex body responsible for regulating, promoting, and providing policy direction for Pakistan’s Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector. In addition to its regulatory role, NAVTTC implements the Prime Minister’s Youth Skill Development Program to equip youth with industry-relevant and emerging skills or productive employment, the report said.
