IHC directs former AJK PM Tanveer Ilyas to remove objections on protective bail plea

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Wednesday directed former Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas to remove objections raised by the Registrar’s Office on his petition seeking protective bail in unspecified cases within seven days.

ISLAMABAD, Jun 10 (APP): The Islamabad High Court (IHC) Wednesday directed former Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas to remove objections raised by the Registrar’s Office on his petition seeking protective bail in unspecified cases within seven days.
Justice Khadim Hussain Soomro heard the petition along with the objections. Neither the petitioner nor his counsel appeared before the court during the proceedings.
The court maintained the objections raised by the Registrar’s Office, including non-submission of biometrics and lack of power of attorney along with the petition. The court directed the petitioner to remove the registrar’s objections within seven days.
