Governor announces 29 new Citizen Facilitation Centres in KP

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday said that the establishment of 29 new Citizen Facilitation Centres (CFCs) through out the province will help translate the government’s commitment of providing basic public services at citizens’ doorstep into reality.

PESHAWAR, Jun 10 (APP): Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Faisal Karim Kundi on Wednesday said that the establishment of 29 new Citizen Facilitation Centres (CFCs) through out the province will help translate the government’s commitment of providing basic public services at citizens’ doorstep into reality.
He made these remarks while chairing a high-level meeting at the Governor House attended by Director General Health Dr Shahin Afridi, Director General NADRA Khalid Inayatullah, Economic Affairs Division CCFSD Programme Manager Waseem Shirazi, and other senior officials.
The participants were informed that each CFC will provide 26 essential public services under one roof, ensuring improved access and efficiency for citizens.
It was further briefed that mothers of newborn children will be provided healthcare support, nutrition assistance, awareness sessions, and financial aid of more than Rs15,000 for up to two years under the programme.
The Governor directed that priority should be given to locating the centres in densely populated areas to maximize public benefit.
He said that in Dera Ismail Khan, new CFCs will soon be inaugurated in Panyala, Chodhwan, Landa Sharif, and Yarik, while in Tank district centres will be set up in Gomal Bazar, Dabara, Ranwal, and Ama Khel.
He added that in the next phase, similar centres will be established in other major villages across the province.
Governor Kundi also directed that CFC-II in Dera Ismail Khan city should be relocated closer to more populated areas to improve public access.
He further announced that the construction of a dedicated NADRA office building in Dera Ismail Khan will be inaugurated soon to strengthen identity registration services in the region.
