RAWALPINDI, Jun 10 (APP):Senior Superintendent of Police SSP Investigation Nasir Ali Khan reviewed the performance of police officers and issued directives aimed at improving investigative standards and operational efficiency during a meeting held at the Police Lines Headquarters on Wednesday.
The meeting was attended by SP Saddar, ASP Saddar, SHOs of Gujar Khan, Jatli, Mandra and Saddar Bairooni, as well as investigation officers from across the Saddar Division.
During the meeting, SSP evaluated the progress of investigations and stressed the importance of ensuring the arrest of suspects involved in serious criminal cases.
He directed officers to conclude investigations strictly on merit and further improve actions against proclaimed offenders, their facilitators and habitual criminals with previous criminal records.
Nasir Ali Khan emphasized that professional investigation and effective prosecution are essential to securing convictions in courts. He instructed officers to focus on high-quality investigations and strong case follow-up to enhance the conviction rate.
The SSP also directed police officials to address the concerns of citizens visiting police stations on a priority basis and ensure prompt resolution of their issues.
Reaffirming the department’s commitment to public safety, Nasir Ali Khan said all possible measures are being taken to protect the lives and property of citizens and maintain law and order across the district.
