ISLAMABAD, Jun 10 (APP):Federal Minister for Energy (Power Division) Sardar Awais Ahmad Khan Leghari on Wednesday expressed deep sorrow and grief over the Pakistan Army MI-17 helicopter crash near Muzaffarabad, paying tribute to the officers and soldiers who embraced martyrdom in the tragic incident.
In a statement, the minister said the nation saluted the supreme sacrifices rendered by the brave personnel of the Pakistan Army for the defence and security of the country.

Leghari said the Army personnel who laid down their lives in the line of duty were national heroes whose sacrifices for the defence and security of the country would always be remembered.
“Those who sacrifice their lives for the homeland are our heroes, and the nation will never forget their services and devotion,” he remarked.
Sardar Awais Leghari extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families, saying the entire nation stood with them in this hour of grief.
The minister extended his heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families of the martyrs and prayed for strength and fortitude for them to bear the irreparable loss.
He prayed that Allah Almighty may elevate the ranks of the martyrs in Jannah and grant patience to their families.
