LAHORE, Jun 10 (APP): Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif on Wednesday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of two sewer workers who lost their lives while cleaning a sewerage pipeline in Lodhran.

The chief minister extended her heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the bereaved families and prayed for the eternal peace of the departed souls.

CM Maryam Nawaz also sought an immediate report on the incident from the concerned authorities and directed them to ascertain the circumstances leading to the tragic loss of lives.

She said the loss of precious human lives was deeply regrettable and assured that all aspects of the incident would be thoroughly examined.
