BWMC ensures best sanitation services for processions

BAHAWALPUR, Jun 09 (APP): Chief Executive Officer of the Bahawalpur Waste Management Company (BWMC) Muhammad Naeem Akhtar has said that providing mourners with a clean, hygienic, and healthy environment during Muharram-ul-Haram is the company’s top priority.
He stated that BWMC management and sanitation staff are working around the clock under a coordinated and comprehensive strategy to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness during the sacred month.
He made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation at the BWMC head office. The delegation was led by District Peace Committee member Ehsanullah Rahat and included caretakers of Imambargahs, licensed organizers, and representatives associated with Muharram gatherings and processions.
During the meeting, Muhammad Naeem Akhtar briefed participants on the company’s special cleanliness arrangements for Muharram-ul-Haram. He stated that comprehensive sanitation measures have been put in place at Imambargahs, mourning congregations (Majalis), and along procession routes throughout the city.
