KHANEWAL, Jun 09 (APP): A woman was killed while her husband sustained critical injuries in a collision between a tractor-trolley and a motorcycle near Chak No. 15 Wala Phatak in the Mian Channu tehsil of Khanewal district on Tuesday.
According to Rescue 1122 officials, the couple was travelling on a motorcycle when it collided with a tractor-trolley.
As a result, 50-year-old Irshad Bibi died on the spot, while her husband, 52-year-old Abdul Khaliq, suffered serious injuries.
Rescue 1122 teams responded promptly to the emergency call, provided first aid at the scene, and shifted the injured to Tehsil Headquarters (THQ) hospital, Mian Channu.
