The Rupee on Tuesday appreciated by 03 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs278.37 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs278.40.

ISLAMABAD, Jun 9 (APP): The Rupee on Tuesday appreciated by 03 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs278.37 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs278.40.

According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the Dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs278.25 and Rs279.40, respectively.

The price of the Euro against the rupee increased by Rs0.47 and closed at Rs321.14 from the previous day’s close of Rs320.67, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

The Japanese Yen remained unchanged to close at Rs1.73, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed an increase of Rs1.01 and closed at Rs372.10 compared to the previous day’s Rs371.09.

The exchange rate of the Emirate Dirham remained stagnant at Rs 75.79 while the Saudi Riyal increased by 03 paisa to close at Rs74.14.
