LAHORE, Jun 08 (APP): Punjab Minister for Labour and Human Resource Muhammad Manshaullah Butt and Commissioner Punjab Employees Social Security Institution (PESSI) Zulfiqar Ali Kharal met workers who were privileged to perform Hajj under the Punjab Social Security scheme and congratulated them on successfully undertaking the sacred pilgrimage.
During the meeting, the pilgrims shared their spiritual experiences and expressed gratitude for the facilities and support extended by Punjab Social Security for the performance of Hajj. The minister appreciated their sentiments and requested them to offer special prayers for the progress, prosperity and stability of Pakistan and the well-being of its people.
Minister Muhammad Manshaullah Butt remarked that workers who had fulfilled the sacred obligation of Hajj were a source of pride for Punjab Social Security and that facilitating deserving workers in undertaking the blessed journey was a matter of great satisfaction and honour for the institution.
The minister said that Punjab Social Security would continue to take comprehensive measures in future to support workers and promote welfare initiatives aimed at enabling more beneficiaries to perform Hajj and avail similar opportunities.
Commissioner Zulfiqar Ali Kharal also felicitated the pilgrims and appreciated their participation in the programme.
